i went to the local health food store at lunch. i got a big salad and this "live" granola bar. "live" and "raw" foods mean they are not cooked. they are dried at less then 105 degrees. the wrapper has a disclaimer saying you might find some "things of the earth" like twigs are small rocks in these bars. blech. what you won't find in this granola bar is flavor. ah well, i tried......
i also got a DVD for "stress relief through Qi Gong" that i want to try in the mornings. i know groundcat is going to be excited to wake up early to release some chi! there's something called the "shaolin punch" that sounds like it could be something out of "fight club"! i wonder if you can drink coffee while getting your qi gong on?
well, i ate a super healthy lunch. now i can go home and eat steak, butter my bread and drink some wine and feel ok about it!

I wanted to try Qi Gong once, bought a dvd too. I had trouble getting into it. the three of us should find a class somewhere that teaches it.
it looks really "new age" and might set off my "anti-hippie" senses.
but i'm going to give it a whirl!
also- i think DVDs are better then classes. people acting like new-age fools in person is harder to deal with. there's no pause button or eject.
LOL
pause or eject buttons are just a way to give up on it ;-)
