1. i got bored and changed the blog layout. i wanted something new and fall-ish. i predict my mom will hate it. i'll tweak it for days, and possibly go back to the old layout, or end up with crayons again. no one knows, or cares.
2. contest!!! give us some ideas of what we could have written on our "belated" wedding reception cake. it's going to be red velvet cake with pink, glittery frosting. 2 layers, enough for about 50 people, so i'm thinkin' kind of large. lots of room to write something inappropriate.
(this is not our cake! but i wonder....are the feathers edible? does it taste like chicken?)

chris- those are great! i'm amazed at how fast you came up with those ideas off the top of your head so fast! you should get a job in the advertising business.
ginny- yeah, rachel tells me folks don't normally write anything on wedding cakes. but we're not normal!
