what's everyone so sad about???
well, it looks like the 1/2 a box of kleenex i went through was premature. dixie came home today!!! she's definetly not out of the woods yet, but she got better last night. dr. bedi told me yesterday we'd know today which way things would go. she suprised everyone this morning by hopping out of her cage and eating a whole can of food. she's keeping the food down and no more bleeding.

when i got to the vet, i saw the sparkle back in her eyes for the first time since she got sick. she even jumped up on me! when i brought her in the other day i had to carry her, and today she jumped up in the jeep all on her own.

she's still a very sick dog and it will takes weeks to recover. and i know she could get worse again. so we'll just play it by ear and have fun.

now i need to get off the computer and rub this dog's bell!
