so friggin' excited!

this whole getting married thing is more exciting then a red couch, a new job, or tickets to a tom waits show! we've got lots to decide, like when & where. and i need to find out if they make pink glittery wings to go with a bridal dress.

we go to vegas next week, then i start the new job. so much going on! it's a lot to deal with, but all very good......

OMG --- you are turning into Bridezilla already ... damn ... I think a Pig just flew past my window!

You will deffinately have to come over for Thai so I can have a little chat with Dan on how to be a propper husband. All the right things to say to calm you down, and just how he should ask you get him a beer and cook him dinner.

yeah, it's fun to pretend to be a bridezilla! i've seen enough episodes to know how to curse out the flower people, make a hotel conseirge cry, and tell your bridesmaids they aren't allowed to wear makeup, because that will only take away from you special day.

also, i have to lose weight and get a very drank, orange tan. that's what brides do!

whitey, there will be no chats! LOL

I think it would be funnier if you cursed out a Motel concierge. That would show some class!

i am thinking of having a harlequin walk me down the aisle...

I'm thinking you need to work "Jazz Hands" into the ceremony somewhere.

And, instead of rice, everyone can throw string!

Oh, the possibilities are endless!

shush with the string. and no clowns. we've already decided no star trek theme, no religious vows.

now, just have to find a dress, and place to have it, a cake, some wedding bands, etc...

can i start freaking out now???

Coming from someone who planned his entire wedding in about 3 weeks, including ceremony, reception, after after reception, and honeymoon...I could possibly help.

- Archie's cakes in Euclid - best cake I've ever had and relatively inexpensive and pretty fancy looking (@75 bucks to feed 40)
- outdoor ceremony
- lunch for immediate/extended family at Hyde Park
- reception for immediate/extended family and friends at someone's house (outdoor bbq)

Everything including the rings, honeymoon, etc. rang in at probably just under 7K...8K if you include the bar tab on the cruise.

Ooooohhhh, you should totally do an entirely Guitar-Hero based band for your wedding!

Glittergirl hav connexions to at least 3 supergreat bands, that's what she get for being so goddamn fabulous.

Whitey: they could just hook up Copax's Wii with Rock Band...instant entertainment and full ensemble.

You know, I thought about mentioning that and decided I should leave the selection of the group entirely up to bridezilla.

This is going to be a fun thing to watch! I can't wait for the hours of entertainment!

Congratulations. I am so happy for you.
Do you remember what the psychic said??? She was right!! GC made you think of marriage.
Vegas next week? Is this going to be an elopement? Are you all knocked up and needing a shot gun? Are you going to start adopting babies from foreign countries? Can we call you Groundgirl? Glittercat?-- That may mean something else. Danifer?
Are you going to get rings, or tattoos, ala Pam and Tommy?
Also, please update your "about me", from boyfriend to betrothed.
Again, congrats!!!

so many bossy friends....how lucky am i???

we are making plans and deciding stuff. it's tempting to just get hitched while we're in vegas and could save me a nervous breakdown. but there's something so perverse about me having an actual wedding, that i think i have to do it.

and groundcat looks great in a tux.

(i can't decide on calling him my "fiance", "soon to be husband" or "betrothed". i can't wait til it's over and i can call him my old man!!!!!)

and he can refer to you as 'the old ball and chain' that's one of mike's favs as well!

I think if you're actually going to do the traditional thing and have a wedd'n at all, then you HAVE to go absurd and overboard.

Hell, for that I might even make an appearance and sing some karaoke at'choo!
