we lost electricity yesterday around 6pm. by 7pm we had the walkie-talkies and binoculars out, trying to find some signs of human life. (and yes, we've seen way too many zombie movies!) we watched the fire trucks across the street, dealing with a downed power line. dan played guitar for the dogs. griffin seemed to enjoy the john prine songs the most.
the power was still out when we left for work this morning.
