i've added a disclaimer to the blog, which is exciting! i found out the new guy at work who i bossed to read my blog actually listened to the bossing! and since i tend to exagerate some of my "lazy at work" tendencies, and since i read a story about a lady who was fired from a job for blogging about work stuff, i thought i might need to clarify a few things. mainly, that this blog is highly influenced by some of my favorite books and authors. mainly hunter s. thompson, my favorite writer who invented his own version of journalism (gonzo) that was a mix of fact, fantasy, exaggeration, all for the sake of making things interesting and funny for the reader.
of course i am no HST of the blog world. i mainly tell dumb stories about my dumb life, for a giggle. i love to add little flourishes and details to make it more interesting. i'm not sayin' i'm not lazy, because i am. and i do love to goof off at work whenever possible. just that i play it up sometimes, for the funny.
another favorite author, frederick exley, put it all perfectly in the opening disclaimer of his book a fan's notes. go get a copy and read it, for gosh sake!
fyi- if you do a google image search for "gonzo", just know that there is also a type of porn called "gonzo porn" and you might get some really "not safe for work" images!!!

Covering your butt are you?
yeah, blogs + work = bad things, man, bad things
searching for Gonzo also reveals images of The Great Gonzo, a favorite performer of mine.
