belated weekend blog...........

my tomato plant is doing good. tomatoes are finally getting ripe. i was afraid we'd have to relocate to a sunnier spot (possibly the roof, as groundcat suggested.) but the tomatoes are getting red on their own. we maybe get a bumper crop, enough to make everyone a BLT!

i was crabby all weekend, but this guy cheered me up. we've seen a few of the folks in costume in front of local businesses. we saw a giraffe lose his head one windy day. but this pink jelly bean dude was really "into" the performance. he danced and waved and seemed so excited. now that's acting and commitment to character. james lipton would be proud of the method acting this jelly bean seemed to employ. bravo pink jelly bean, bravo!!!
