one more thing: i've been working on a blog post about mel gibson, in keeping with my interest in celebrity meltdowns (like tom cruise and star jones.) but christopher hitchens wrote a great article about gibson on slate.com, so i'll link to there. (because i'm lazy!!!!)

I used to use fractal generation programs all the time. My favorie was Chaoscope, which made it easy to create amazing, beautiful, three dimentional fractals.
Sterling and Tiera are also pretty good, producing 2D fractals. It isn't difficult to waste hours of your life creating these things. (o:
