the stats also show what parts of the world people coming to my blog are from, and i'm wondering who the heck in reston, virginia is reading this blog every day!
important lessons learned:
don't wear chuck taylors in the snow (even if they are cute as hell and pink.) they are not good in slush!
do not photograph your matzo ball soup at lunch in front of coworkers (including your new boss.) they will think it's weird. and most certainly don't follow that up with taking a pic of your giant rueben sandwich (even if it tasted great and was 1/2 a mile high!!!)
do not trick your boyfriend into think you are really eating radioactive candy. he will not think it's funny, especially if you try to film the expression on his face and post it to youtube.
your dog will think it's funny if you post video of him listening to someone talk to you on your cell phone.

crap, i didn't realize how dark it turned out! it was shot on my junky old digital camera. maybe my fancy AV boyfriend will help me edit the video on the imac and reupload it....

I had the same Chuck Taylors, mine were high tops, can't tell if yours are high or low, circa 1984. They are timeless.
They were so cute, I wore them sled riding. Duh. I think I went down the hill once and by the time I got back up, everyone was ready to go. But, I looked cute!!
But, did you have one pink/purple/aqua one and one aqua/purple/pink one with coordinating/non coordinating shoelaces carefully chosen to make you look like Rick Springfield?
I DID! And I probably looked more like a member of the Wiggles than Rick Springfield, but I thought I was pretty great.

I had this huge comment on the "mondegreens" post but it got erased and I got pissed so I didn't retype it.
Anyway, clowns still freak me out!
My most infamous mondegreen was the theme song to "All In The Family"...I won't go into details for fear of it disappearing again.
I wore black chucks and white chucks that I drew all over. I always wanted the chucks with the fold down tops with the plaid lining (or whatever)
