i always thought of myself as someone who liked british comedies. (it's definitely something that could make the list on stuffwhitepeoplelike!) but my recent admissions about not enjoying blackadder have sent shock waves through the community! ok, maybe that's a bit melodramatic, but i have had to stop and think about this pressing issue. do i like british comedy???
here's the stuff i've liked: the BBC version of "the office", "absolutely fabulous", "the young ones" (back in high school staying up late sunday nights to watch it!) reynolds has shown me clips from the catherine tate show that have been hilarious.
i also love "kids in the hall" and "trailer park boys", but those are actually canadian, not british, although i think they should count.
here's what i've not liked: blackadder (as previously stated), dr. who (which is more sci-fi then comedy), faulty towers, are you being served? and monty python. i feel horrible guilt over not liking monty python. i know i "should" love it, and i've tried, to no avail.
whatever. ya know what i like? griffin's eyebrows!!!!!
p.s. i'm not adding links for all this crap. go wiki/google it yourself.

anybody who doesn't like anything gwiffin-related is even worse than someone who doesn't enjoy british comedy.
Jennifer, let's start a "Regretfully I don't like Red Dwarf/Sushi/Solondz" Support Group!
RED DWARF!!!!!!!!
Keeping Up Appearances is pretty funny...old style comdedy. French and Saunders is funny sketch stuff...I believe the English have more funny stuff they don't export. That way we continue to think they are dry and boring when they're probably all hilarious and drunk :)
why is Chris's photo blocked from viewing? Is it obscene? uh oh...
