here's my list of things i've been wanting to blog about:
- the polygamist ladies on the news- weird hair and dresses
- there will be blood- an in depth review and analysis
- my diet- eating healthy, cutting out beer, still drinking coffee
- the vet- why i cry at the vet, how i got through it, and how GD expensive it is
i don't have time to really talk about any of that right now. maybe i'll come back to the topics someday. for now.....
my diet: i just got a filet-o-fish for lunch and now feel sick. it's the same thing as beer; it seems like a good idea and i remember loving it, then i end up regretting it. i seem to have finally assimilate this knowledge as far as beer goes, but the siren call of fast food still seems to trick me once a week or so. this stuff will sink in sooner or later.... lately my only indulgence has been eating too many "soy crisps", which is progress!
the vet: i took griffin friday after work. the office was packed, including someone with a dog that looked just like maggie, but named lucy. by the time griffin and i got back to the exam room i was sobbing. i think i scared the vet tech! plus my mom was nice enough to tell me about martha stewart's chow dog passing away earlier that day. i ended up filling my fancy yellow purse full of kleenex from all the crying. which is better then the dog's urine sample i brought in (also in the fancy yellow purse.) hey, it was in tupperware and then a ziplock.
we took caesar & cleo saturday morning and i was much better. i didn't cry once! all 3 dogs have now been to the vet and have been examined and tested, poked and prodded. the verdict is in: we have 3 old dogs in good health for their age. i'm really relieved and glad to be done with the vet for a while.
btw- i'm giving my mom the yellow purse for mother's day. i went and found the same purse in black, which is much more practical for daily use. glittermom is spoiled!
finally: the weekend went by way too fast. yesterday we made a little bonfire and spent time outdoors. it was perfect weather. i wore my crocs and dan brought out his guitar and it was quite lovely. i put some pics above. i also found out photobucket has online editing! of course i had to test it out with a pic of groundcat.

YAY FOR GLITTERMOM!!! How lucky she is to have a daughter such as you!
Whitey if you only knew....
Glittermom made those two Va-Jay-Jays the way they are.
I had six cheesy tots for breakfast, and I have NO REGRETS!
yeah, glittermom raised a couple of "interesing" kids, to say the least! my idea for a reality show was to feature my mom and a baby, and film her "special" techniques in child rearing, to see how she produces such freaks.
of course i haven't worked out the logisitics, like where to get an actual baby for the show. and i'm not sure if they would film for an entire 18 years. maybe they could do something time lapsed....
LOL!
6 cheesy tots, once in a blue moon, is just fine and dandy! i'm down to only once a week....
Why does that mustard yellow purse look like its stuffed with used toilet paper? You better be taking care of my mothers day gift...
PLEASE!!! No more floating dolls in well pictures....They are just creepy....
That's just Henry Lee, sticky! He pissed off Polly Jean and he BELONGS there...
is that a nick cave reference on my blog, or are you just happy to see me?
Both!
