someday you might be "lucky" enough to catch us out front walking the dogs. i'm usually in some embarassing PJs with green crocs, so you can't miss me!

Is that first picture a screen snap of the lost Planet of the Apes movie? You know, "Banana Seats on the Planet of the Apes"

mojito- it's interesting you bring that up! as a child, i loved horror movies. i saw "the shining", "the exorcist" and any old horror films they played on big chuck and little john or the ghoul.

i watched those movies at age 8 or 9 and never got scared. i read stephen king novels in 2nd grade and loved them.

but "planet of the apes" scared the bejeezus out of me!!! and it seemed like superhost played that film (and its many sequels) every damn weekend!

i would sit and wait to see what movie superhost would be playing that saturday afternoon, and as soon as i realized it was planet of the apes, i would be forced to get off the couch and go play outside with the other kids. which sucked!

Well, I liked the majority of the series. I admit, the one where they worship a nuclear missile which had heavy foreshadowing of Atomic Annihilation did get me kind of depressed as a kid.

I do feel they started reaching a bit by the time they released "Lunch on the Planet of the Apes". It started to lose some of its glitter.
