here's how we actually got the tree off the barn:
lance came out with the chainsaw and got the tree off the roof.....
we stayed out of the way, but a ladder lost its life in the process.
here we are doing actual work!
(notice the rare photo on the right, of me doing real manual labor!)
of course i stopped to document it all....
on the right: lance as the enigmatic "smoking man".

we loaded up the entire bed of lance's truck:
then the boys reminisced about the good old days at madison high....
on the right: groundcat got drunk and tried to drive his car into the barn through this small door!!!! (i kid. we haven't had beer in ages, some kind of crazy health kick we're on.)
the cleaned up yard and my telephoto lens captures the neighbors. the end.

not funny:
ok, now for something random: "blackadder" is not funny. every guy i've dated (including groundcat) or been friends with (like copax, who was kind enough to lend us his boxset) loves this damn show. read the link if you don't know what it is. i barely know what it is, but i tried to get into it and it's dumb.
lessons learned: if you bring home a pizza and it's under-cooked, do not eat it. even if you're starving. have a piece of cheese or something, and put that undercooked pizza in the damn oven! do you call the pizza place to complain? nah....unless you plan on never going back. i am considering ordering pizza "well done" from now on...
signs i am getting old & confused (or older & more confused): i just spent 5 minutes reading a review of NKOTB and their big "reunion" on the today show. i was reading the article because i got NKOTB confused with KITH and it took me a full 5 minutes of reading the article before i realized my error. doh!

Black Adder ROCKS!!!! My wife and I have watched every episode ever made.
If you like British Comedy, check out Red Dward. We own all 8 seasons and it is TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!!

I LOVE the English...I'm freakish about their comedy shows.
PS-I used to work in a pizza place in Strongsville and, just so you know, don't EVER call back and COMPLAIN. You're better off eating underdone pizza....of course, this was 10-11 years ago...I'm guessing things have changed :)
