i had a revelation over the weekend. i hate turtlenecks. i hate wearing them, and 99% of the time i think they look stupid on others. i will admit to going through a "black mock turtleneck" phase in the early 90's, but that's over!!!in other news, the state of OH executed jeffrey lundgren today. just a few weekends ago groundcat & i drove around to find the barn where he murdered that family out in kirtland.
so what's everyone's stand on the death penalty? i know in previous posts i've identified myself as pro-choice/ pro death (meaning, i am pro abortion and pro physician assisted suicide, but against the death penalty since it is not by choice.)

about the turtlenecks...You need a neck to wear one you know...haha..and about the death penalty...I don't think we have a right to kill people for any reason but when you hear of someone doing something so horrific or if it was to someone you knew you might feel differently..I don't know the answer.
I'm pro-turtleneck. i like to lay back and imagine Jeffrey Lundgren getting a lethal injection wearing a pink turtleneck. ahhh, that's justice baby!
I'm a bit peeved that Wikipedia thinks "Polo Neck" (?) is the appropriate term for the beloved Turtle Neck. (Yes, I do love Turtle Necks. And mock ones.)
I love big turtleneck and cowl neck sweaters. They always look so cozy. Unfortunately for my body type they are the worst possible choice, and whenever I wear one and think I look cute or at least presentable, I will see a foto later and be aghast at how much I look like a giant pile of sweater colored dung with a tiny little microencephalic fetus in fetu head perched on top like a pockmarked cherry.
Quite sad. But cozy.
