some recent photos.....

here's proof of the "ring in the greens" incident, and chris' wedding gifts to us. (those dog statues were on the bargain rack for only $2.50 a piece!)
also, this spider lives outside the back door. it looks like an alien and i am grossed out just looking at the pic. we might need to move.

And here you're trying to gank my chihuaha statue from my desk? For shame!

As a funny side note, on our trip to PA last weekend, there was a cheese store that was advertising Chihuaha cheese. Mrs. Libre said that it is really good stuff...kinda like mozzarella but creamier. I asked how they get the dogs to sit still for milking.

She then told me that the cheese originates from the Chihuaha region of Mexico.

My bad.

Did you then ask if that's where the dogs came from?

No, but then she went on to tell me about 2 twin brothers that she went to school with. They grew up on a farm. Everybody went over to their place one weekend for a big bonfire. Apparently, they had a dog that had just given birth to pups. They figured if they could milk a cow, they could milk a dog. She said it was one of those things you had to be there for.

you 2 are like my own personal guest commentators! like the guys on monday night football who give the color commentary. (is that what it's called? i don't actually watch sports so not sure if i have the phrase right.)

also, did you not see that spider??? how could you NOT comment on that monster????

we should be field reporters or contributors like on the Daily Show.

and yes I saw the spider, and no I'm not going to comment on it. Other than to say if I run into one of these monstrosities in person at your guys' house I will not stop to find a camera and take a picture of it, I still smash it to a pulp.

I saw the spider and he seems to follow the rules of the Libre-household. If he's outside, that's cool. If he's anywere inside the house - it's the el-smasheroo.

They help eat the midges at our house when they spawn in the millions out of Lake Erie - I've got no problem minimizing the midge population of Bay Village.

Oh, and I think you solved the mystery of Area 51 - his name is Ack-Ack and he comes from the planet Xanadu.

that spider looks like a rotten potato to me...and I bet if you stepped on it, it would pop...

also, i just remembered that chris didn't actually pay for those dog statues. we paid for all the groceries with dan's credit card, so dan actually paid for those! LOL!
