random crap, and my new OCD obsession....

fuji apples are almost as good as honeycrisp. but don't get carried away, they aren't ALL THAT....

a few months ago you couldn't pay me enough money to talk about WLS (weight loss surgery.) now it's all i want to blab about! mag's has an interesting observation on the surgery. she pointed out that the folks who seem to keep the weight off best long term, are those who weren't overweight their whole lives. the people who gained weight as adults (usually due to pregnancy or other heath issues) seem better able to keep it off post surgery. which makes so much sense! i think those of us who battled their weight since childhood are more genetically predisposed to weight gain. surgery alters many things, but not heredity. an interesting thought......

my latest OCD obsession: my blog format. i can't seem to settle on a format i like. i've played around with every template, and added my own tweaks, but nothing looks right to me. HELP!!!


wow, just as i was typing that, i got an email from glittermom! "STOP changing your blog around...geesh....your worse then me and moving furniture around..." it's like some kind of psychic blog bossing!!!!

more on glitter: here's a fun fact- groundcat hates glitter. if he gets an xmas card with glitter he curses. i need to apply for a job at meadowbrook inventions.
