final weekend pics and soup...

i'm uploading some final weekend photos. i tried making grilled fennel bulbs, but they weren't very good. today i'm going to try to transform the "beer can chicken" carcass into soup. i'm taking erin o'brien's turkey soup recipe a making a few tweaks. by "tweaks" i mean i'm using a chicken instead of a turkey. it's a crazy 2 day process and involves whole onions and smashing up bones. i'm kind of excited.....
