photos above: some flowers started to bloom before the snow, i made corned beef & cabbage in the crock pot, and lisa ann's b-day package is almost ready to go.
call me lovey: i was shopping for the above corned beef brisket and found a nice 3-pounder, angus certified. i admit to not even looking at the price. a nice lady in her 50's glanced over and said, "oh my, that looks nice, but not in my budget!" she was clutching an enveloppe of coupons. i got so embarassed! i started to stammer and said something like, "um...yeah.....well....i've been saving up for this!" and pointed to the hunk of meat. i don't even know what i meant by that. maybe i had a piggy bank that i busted open to buy a 3 pound angus corned beef brisket? of course i did, it's every girl's dream!
