(ok, it's official, i no longer have a home phone. only a cell phone. it took me 15 minutes with a sales rep though. and i couldn't hang up until he read me pages of offers to transfer the number or make it voicemail only. i would say "no thanks" but then he had to keep reading. annoying as hell. but it's finally done and i am so modern! pretty soon i'll be riding a space ship to work!!!!)

ReplyDeleteOh yeah, the recorded voice thing that asks you to speak your answers. That can make me LOSE MY MIND!!! And I especially hate the friendly fake lady voice who tries to talk with an inflection that's all "down with the kids." The T-Mobile lady. I HATE HER!!! Call me old-fashioned & call me old. I just want to talk to the goddamned representative & don't trick me by making zero not the default to press anymore. Jesus Christ.
ReplyDeleteI'm mad just reading about your experience. Try doing it on a cell phone paying roaming charges of 35 cents a minute. Aaaaarggh!
