i know in the past we had our "anti-german" debates, so today i thought i'd say something positive about a nationality. my new roomie (of polish descent) has filled the freezer with all kinds of meat, including a ton of keilbasa. woo hoo!!! of course this leaves no room for my lean cuisines. maybe this is karma telling me not to diet? i mean, first a cheese cake, and now this?
the polish gave us sausage and peirogies, polka and my step dad. then there's charles bukowski, roman polanski, and stanley kowalski. there's something about those boy's with at "ski" at the end of their names....
in other news, a shocking development on the work front: we are being given the next 2 saturdays off. so i am down to 50 hour weeks and an actual weekend free. what am i going to do with all this new found free time???
If people from Poland are called "Poles," then why aren't people from Holland called "Holes?"
